TripHut sends its members on free or discounted vacations using a combination of travel grants, partnerships, and community owned resources.

Travel grants are dispersed from a shared treasury that is seeded by a percentage of club earnings. Partnerships with hoteliers and attractions globally are formed through the business development committee; and community owned resources (A Boutique Hotel), will be acquired or built from the proceeds of a community-led token event.

For now, you can submit a travel request or vote on someone else’s submission.

Discord – It is a social app that facilitates voice, video, and text chats for communities.TripHut also uses your discord details as an identifier(similarly to a gmail sign in).

Wallet – A wallet stores your private keys for crypto currency transactions.It also acts as an identifier, in that, it is the content of your wallet(if you hold a membership pass), that gets you access to the club and its benefits.

DAO – A decentralised autonomous organisation is a new way to organise effort and support interests.It’s an attempt to use blockchain technology to vote, raise and manage finances in a radically transparent way.TripHut is a DAO that’s geared towards travel & those interested in same.

NFTs – Non - Fungible Tokens are a new means of proving and transferring ownership.In the case of TripHut, it is used to prove ownership of a membership pass that gives the holder rights to benefit from the DAO, its resources, and mandates.

Token event – It is essentially a new way to pool resources to fund common interests.TripHut intends on eventually doing a token event to purchase its first property for public and community use.

Governance rights – It is the right to participate in the DAOs decision making.

Tipsy Turtles – It is Intellectual Property licensed from Yaad Labs for use in TripHuts commercial efforts.Tipsy Turtles is also a stand - alone community whose members seeded the development of TripHut and who in turn also benefit from its resources and mandates.

JPG.store – It is a secondary marketplace the public can use to buy our membership pass and other NFTs.
